#3d1: Create an ideal team by seeing the micro from the macro.

In Plato's Republic, Socrates frames the vast social enterprise of a city as a magnification of a person. The various virtues and vices seen in man are manifest at a larger scale in a city; if you understand how a "good" city and its society would appear, you begin to understand how to live a "good" life as an individual. This ideal of transposition, seeing the macro from the micro (and the reverse), can be used to define the ideal qualities of a team.

For example: an individual functions best when they are working towards a single, well-defined aim. Others can communicate clearly with them, and they can focus the efforts in a single direction. In this case, what is true for an individual is also true for a team.
