#21: The goal of process is to remove itself.

The goal of process is to remove itself. Process should not be an end in itself, but a means.

When leading a team that is not yet performing, adding process is often an effective way to increase their effectiveness. Over time, the process will become internalised to the point where it is a way of working. The group can then easily, naturally, and without deliberate effort adapt and mould it to fit their unique team dynamics.
