Reference #98: Better People Analytics

Silos are natural and unavoidable in organisations. They form as a group develops deep areas of expertise. This leads to the group having different goals and speaking a different technical language to other groups. These groups are then less able to work together — they don't know what other groups are working on, and they don't know how what they do can be valuable to other groups.
