Reference #170: Peopleware

People have a need for closure. As a manager, you should ensure there are opportunities for it.

For necessarily long-running projects, this means dividing the work into many pieces each with their own definite end point.

Organisations have far less need for closure than do their people, and so frequent closure is naturally underrepresented.
