Reference #490: Organizational Culture and Leadership

The validity of clinically gathered data on culture has two components: factual accuracy and interpretive accuracy.

Factual accuracy can be checked by triangulating data and verifying with multiple sources.

Interpretive accuracy has three criteria:

• An independent observer should be able to observe the same cultural phenomena and interpret them the same way
• You should be able to anticipate how the organisation will handle future issues
• The members of the organisation should feel that what you have depicted makes sense
